About me!

June was inspired by oral history when she was a child.  Her grandparents were Russian Jewish immigrants and June heard a lot of stories from them about life in Russia,  June’s parents were Civil Rights Activists and worked actively on the War on Poverty in the 1960′s. What really put the blogging to the forefront was when June was an archivist  in college where she archived a collection that comprised of over 35 years of South Florida Women’s Political History.  June discovered that she was always good at getting out the word,  she was an excellent researcher, and a prolific writer.  So, she decided to blend these interesting life experiences to be the inspiration of becoming a blogger and social media specialist.
